Why coaching?
Coaching is a special professional partnership. It thrives on safety, respect, trust, openness, goodwill, honesty, and creativity to propel you forward.
Coaching can help you to -
Learn how to use your unique brain differences as work strengths
Handle strong emotions for better well-being
Have more agency over the way you use your time and attention
Develop techniques to manage tough emotions in difficult conversations
Recover from and avoid overwhelm and burnout
Dial down neurodivergent strength imposter syndrome
Enhance work relationships and performance
Understand and accommodate their nervous system and needs
Learn to promote and influence authentically and manageably
But would therapy be more helpful right now?
In the context of ADHD, Autism and other neurodivergences, professional coaching places an emphasis on applying your strengths and differences, while discovering what your needs are for productivity, performance and wellbeing, and how to get those needs met.
Understandably, not everyone is ready for coaching.
Sometimes therapeutic support is needed before coaching support.
Especially if you are neurodivergent.
Here are some of the major differences between coaching and therapy.
After coaching with Annie I know who I am and what I contribute, and most importantly where I am heading. I’ve increased my visibility, developed a ‘brand’ and know my behaviours as a leader are improving constantly. I found the experience working with Annie almost magical. She has an incredible ability to guide without feeling forced, and I was astounded by how far I came in such a short time. I put Annie’s skills as a coach at the very centre of this and have recommended her to many others.

People with ADHD have a special 'feel' for life, a way of seeing right into the heart of matters. While others have to reason their way methodically.
